Gears of War 2 Review Launched

January 19th, 2009

As mentioned earlier, I decided to try my hand at writing a game review. For my first outing I chose Gears of War 2 since I recently finished the single player. I hope to write several more reviews, and hopefully they are enjoyable to read. You see, these reviews will have a different focus than what you would find on most review sites. There are no previews, no ad revenue on the line, no early press copies. You might see me review a game that’s been out for years. You might see me review a game I didn’t even finish… and honestly, I’d rather hear someone tell me that a game was so boring he didn’t finish it than “I played this game for 3 days straight because my deadline was coming up.” I’m writing these because I want to do so, and if they help you decide to play a game or not, that’s great. If you choose to ignore them, that’s fine too; I’ll still be producing comics, the next of which is in the planning stages. So, if you feel up to reading what I thought of Gears 2, click here.
