Defense Grid: The Awakening demo

January 16th, 2009

It was a long time coming, but a demo is finally available for Defense Grid: The Awakening. I played through it last night and loved it. It gives you 4 levels from the full game. In case you didn’t know, this is Tower Defense, but done in the most professional way to date.

I can’t say I’d pay $20 for this game, because I won’t, but they’d have me at $10. $15 might be doable, but only if they release a level editor. Of course, the value of a game is totally subjective, and if you think that it’s worth $20 then go for it.
