There WILL be a comic on Friday. I know this because I just finished it. My work conditions are… less than ideal. I’m still using my old PC, which I have now hooked up to my 52″ Mitsubishi DLP. I’m sitting on the floor, and my desk is the ottoman.
I am trying to be a little more spontaneous with the art, thus the loose look of the new strip. Of course this means nothing to you since you haven’t seen it yet.
As for the new PC, today it crashed twice after having run for 4 days straight. There is a magic formula to getting the motherboard (a Gigabyte P43) to behave with Vista 64. I still have not found that formula.
All these people are trying to take my money! There are so many games that have either just arrived or are about to… it’s overwhelming. On the bright side, it keeps me in comic ideas.
Sadly, I doubt I’ll be playing any games tonight. I got my replacement motherboard (I kicked that fucking P43 board to the curb, and got a P45) today. So I get to waste MORE hours trying to get my new PC working properly. And they wonder why people love consoles.
Rudy Ray Moore, a.k.a. Dolemite, died yesterday. I didn’t think anything could bring down Dolemite, but apparently diabetes is stronger than I thought.
If you haven’t seen Dolemite, or Avenging Disco Godfather, seek them out. Where’s Dolemite? Breathin’ down yo’ neck!
For those of us that pre-ordered it, that is. Everyone else gets it November 11. Hopefully I can continue the pace with the comics once it actually comes out, although I fully intend to spend a great deal of time with it for at least a while. I’m hoping I can get in with a good bunch of guys that actually like teamwork. Right….
I picked up GHWT on Sunday, and overall I like it a lot. I haven’t had any of the faulty instrument woes of other people, short of a very squeaky strum bar. I’m hoping that issue works itself out.
My biggest complaint so far- having to pay in-game money to unlock gigs. It really makes no sense… they PAY you to play songs. Which is it?
